Mother/Daughter activity

Ashlee used this as one of her personal project 10 hour projects. She printed invitations. She planned games and she was in charge. She had all of the girls dress like their mothers. She also played a couple of games. She had questions to see how well the mothers knew their daughters and how well the daughters knew their mothers. I have to say Ashlee did better than I did on this part. She then had a game to see how many questions each could answer from the others era. Everyone felt this was easier for the moms because they are alive in the girls time but the girls were not alive at their mothers time. The mothers did kick butt. Then she had mothers and daughters parade on the red carpet. We took pictures and gave them copies. Here is a picture of Ashlee and I and Cortnee and their mom. Ashlee and I would have won if pictures had been taken. I am posting this picture because it is pretty hideous of me. Ashlee keeps telling me all of the pictures that I post of her are funny looking. So this ones for you Ashlee!!!!

Basketball

Our middle school does not have a sports program for the most part, so our 9th graders can try out for the high school teams. The exception to this rule is basketball. So Ashlee made it on the 9th grade team. All of the teams go to play offs which are single elimination. Our team was eliminated in the first game. Ashlee had a lot of fun. She is number 10.
